The Walter Hat Pattern
Knitting Pattern - Digital Download
Advanced beginner knitting patttern for The Walter Hat. Pattern includes 4 sizes: Toddler (Adult Small, Adult Medium, Adult Large). You can make one for the whole family!
Named after my father, the idea of the Walter Hat came to me after he repeatedly asked me to make a hat using my his alma mater colors. Having the sports gene skip my generation, I had little interest in knitting freaking neon orange. Also, not wanting my hat to look like a plush road cone, I set out to make a hat with a secret.
Little did I know that it was going to become so popular among my friends. This hat became the perfect solution to add a fun pop of that variegated yarn that you have left over from another project.
I hope you have as much fun making and wearing this hat as I did designing and teaching it.
